CURRICULUM VITAE – IVAN SASSI
Born in Lugano (Ticino) in 1968, married, 1 daughter.
He completed a commercial apprenticeship at the Banca di Credito Commerciale e Mobiliare SA, Lugano. After obtaining a federal certificate of commerce, he moved to Zurich, to Okasan (Schweiz) AG Finanz - Japanese stock broker - gaining more experience in leading brokers in Zurich and Geneva as a consultant for institutional customers and as a Stock Exchange operator.
In 1994, he was employed by the Banca Unione di Credito, Zurich (Fiat group), as operator in the ring of the Zurich Stock Exchange. In 1995 he attended the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), in 1999 he attained a degree in Business Administration, whil simultaneously performing his duties as a financial advisor, first at the Banca Unione di Credito, Lugano.
From 1997 onwards, he joined the UBS group, Lugano. As a member of the Institute of Managers, he was responsible for the sector of Swiss Clients / External managers. In 2000, he developed the computer system UBS Connect in Zurich before moving to UBS Monte Carlo as the deputy in charge of Desk Italy, where he was appointed Deputy Director in 2002.
That same year, in the same role, he worked for the Banca Commerciale Lugano as an advisor to private customers, responsible for relations with external managers and a member of the investment committee.
In July 2004 he joined Fingroup Financial Management & Consulting SA, Lugano, as a partner in the company. He was appointed as a member of the Board and President of the investment committee.
Starting in 2006 he dealt mainly with investments in real estate, graduating in 2010 as an expert-evaluator of real estate recognised in Switzerland by SIV-SIREA. In 2011 he founded the company SISAL Family Office SA in Lugano, a family office specialising in asset management, real estate and commercial management, of which he became director and administrator.
